Summer Theatre School 2019 “Can You Believe It?” 

First Stage Players: (FSP) / Ages 4-5
Open up a book and leap right in. First Stage Players investigate your favorite stories through drama while creating a simple performance. Students will share the story using music, songs, art, costumes and creative drama techniques as their teachers guide them toward the Friday presentation. Tuition $195

Playmakers: (PM) / Ages 6-7
Students work to create their own play by using contemporary literature or a theme as their source material. The class will originate their own charac ters, dialogue and story. The sharing will use basic costumes and scenery in a wonderful presentation at the end of the week. Tuition $200

Performance Workshop: (PW) / Ages: Rising 3rd graders and older
Allows participants to improve their acting and performing skills. Students receive classes in act ing, improvisation, voice and movement. Each child enrolled in the workshop receives a speaking role in the play, which they rehearse every day, culminating in a fully mounted performance for family and friends on Friday evening. / Tuition $215

Musical Theatre Revue: (MTR) / Ages: Rising 3rd graders and older
Designed for students to develop their musical performance and presentation skills. Each session has a different theme or idea that ties the music together. One-week sessions in creative, educational and fun hands-on classes taught by professional artists, scientists and educators. Partial and full-day schedules available with more than 100 interactive and multi-disciplinary classes including a full range of art, science and engineering disciplines. Classes take place in LASC’s new expanded campus with clay studio, digital media lab, planetarium, teaching kitchen, new class rooms, outdoor gardens and educational spaces. Evening classes also available for teens and adults. LASC members receive discounts on registrations. Scholarships available. Build your own full or partial day schedule by choosing your favorite morning and afternoon classes.

Supervised lunch program is included FREE for full-day students. Meals not provided.
