Lexington Children’s Theatre March Performances

A powerful story that revolves around a singular dress, LCT brings, “The Hundred Dresses” to the stage March 19- March 27.

“The Hundred Dresses” follows a girl, Wanda Petronski, as she gets teased and bullied because she wears the same blue dress every day. When another girl in the same position goes along with the teasing, even though she knows it is wrong, “The Hundred Dresses” asks, how do you find the bravery to stand up for what is wrong- even when you are alone?

The show is recommended for ages 8 and up. School performances are scheduled for March 19, 23 – 27, 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Public showtimes are set for Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m and Sunday, March 22 at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.

“The Hundred Dresses” will be performed on the LCT Learning stage at 418 W. Short St.
