Learning Unplugged with FCPS

Beginning on April 6, Fayette County Public Schools will start Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) for its students. Most FCPS students will access instructional materials online, but the internet isn’t necessary for all learning activities.

“Learning Unplugged” is a series of activities provided by FCPS that promote learning at home without the use of electronics. These printable pages have activities for each day of the week in all core subjects, none of which require a computer.

Preschool activities include activities like sorting household items by size or color, while high schoolers can solve algebra problems with pencil and paper. “Learning Unplugged” also has a page for family fun full of games and activity ideas.

“Learning Unplugged” is not a substitute for NTI work, but a supplement meant to encourage engagement between parents and children in the process of learning at home.

You can find all the pages on the FCPS website or on the FCPS Facebook page.
