Celebrating 20 Years of Gattitown

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Gattitown Lexington serving Kentucky families with food and fun. Here are 20 fun facts to wish Gattitown a Happy 20th Birthday!

1.  Gattitown Lexington is locally owned & operated by the Frye family, so when you eat & play at Gattitown, you’re supporting local.

2.  Gattitown Lexington is the largest store by square footage and sales in the Mr. Gatti’s Pizza family.

3.  The founder, Col. Eure named his restaurant after his wife’s Italian family, the “Gatti’s,” and Gattitown continues his mission of offering quality and value to families.

4.  Their signature pizza and pasta sauce recipes have remained unchanged and top-secret since 1969.

5. Their management team has 100 years of combined Gattitown experience. The General Manager has been here for 20 years.

6.  The dough is made fresh every day, and they have the freshest salad bar with veggies delivered and cut daily.

7.  1.7 million pizzas have been served in 20 years by either dine-in buffet, carry-out or now through delivery services Grub Hub and Door Dash.

8.  Gattitown uniquely serves Coke, Pepsi and Ale 8 products – something for everyone.

 9.  Everyday is First Responder Appreciation Day! In-uniform, on-duty fire and police get free buffet and drink because they can get called out at first bite.

10.  Gattitown gives back to the community by donating over $15,000 annually through our FUNdaising program to community schools and organizations.

11. In 2000, the iconic carousel was installed and the building was constructed around it – that’s nearly 3 million revolutions of fun.
