Next Best Years of Your Life
The 24th annual “Next Best Years of Your Life: Living the Good Life” Conference will be held on Friday, Sept. 20 at the Fayette County Extension Office, 1140 Harry Sykes Way.
The conference is an opportunity for citizens age 55 & up to meet, connect and learn. This year’s keynote speaker is Judge Pamela Goodwine, who will speak on seniors’ value to the community.
Other conference topics include estate planning, stretching techniques, a cooking for one demonstration and drug studies related to dementia.
Lunch time entertainment will feature Dixieland South.
The conference runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration fee is $12 for attendees and includes breakfast, lunch and materials. The deadline to register is Sept. 9.
