LCT to Perform: Celebrity Show & ‘Charlotte’s Web’

Lexington Children’s Theatre will present two shows in April: “Charlotte’s Web” and the 11th annual Celebrity Curtain Call Event, which this year features the play: “Treasure Island.”

The Celebrity Curtain Call is a fund-raising event that features a cast of local celebrities plus food, drink, and live and silent auctions with items such as trips to New York City, the Bahamas and more.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. at LCT’S Main Stage. Early Bird tickets are $85 and regular priced tickets are $100. Group tickets are also available.

Later in April, LCT will stage “Charlotte’s Web,” the classic tale based on the book by E.B. White. The story features Wilbur, a radiant pig, and his unlikely friendship with spider Charlotte who helps save him from his unfortunate future. The show is one hour long and is best for ages 4 and up.

Performances at the LCT Main Stage are Sunday, April 14 at 2 and 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m.; Saturday, April 27 at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children.
