LCT to Stage: Cows Don’t Fly and Other Known Facts
Lexington Childrenâs Theatre kicks off the new year by staging four public performances of âCows Donât Fly and Other Known Facts.â
The play is adapted by Vivian and Larry Snipes and based on three books written and illustrated by Kentucky author Paul Brett Johnson.
Between a flying cow, a driving pig, and a circus goose, thereâs never a dull moment at Miss Rosemaryâs farm.
Itâs a known fact youâll laugh till your sides hurt in this silly mash-up of Johnsonâs books âThe Cow Who Wouldnât Come Down,â âThe Pig Who Ran a Red Lightâ and âThe Goose Who Went Off in a Huff.â
âCows Donât Fly and Other Known Factsâ is scheduled to be shown at LCTâs Main Stage on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m.
The play is recommended for children 4 years and older.
Tickets are $18 adults, $15 children.
