Central Kentucky Christian Home School Association
Website offers support and encouragement for homeschoolers, and provides network for legislative information.
Christian Home Educators of the Bluegrass
Provides support and fellowship as well as field trip, classes and academic opportunities for its members.
Jessamine County Home Educators Association
Provides Christ-centered support and encouragement to homeschoolers, including library, P.E., art, music, classes with Asbury College and many other opportunities.

Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning
Offers a variety of educational enrichment classes. This fall look for classes in math and reading as well as tutoring.
Explorium of Lexington
Offers weekly classes for preschool-aged children as well as special programs on the weekend focusing on the current exhibits. Check out “Field Trips to Go” on the website.
Living Arts and Science Center
Offers field-trip opportunities and classes in art, science and technology. Look for monthly Discovery Nights when families can learn about science topics and try out the mobile planetarium.
Lexington Public Library
Website offers homeschool resources (click on “LPL Kids,” then “Grown-ups”), plus live homework help, on-line practice tests for AP, SAT and ACT, bibliographies by grade level and monthly staff recommendations for kids.
YMCA of Central Kentucky
The Beaumont YMCA offers a sports program for homeschooling families. Check the schedule for times and dates.
