Holiday Cheer Goes Deep at Newport Aquarium

The Newport Aquarium’s “Water Wonderland with Scuba Santa” brings the holidays to the big blue sea.

Families and children will explore the deep-sea depths as Scuba Santa blows magic bubbles through the water.

In the Shark Ray Bay Theatre – dazzling with the twinkle of sea creature lights – children meet Scuba Santa one-on-one and dance to the rhythm of holiday music.

Farther into the aquarium, the white alligators and seahorses will also enjoy lights and decorations. Even the 800-pound gator, Mighty Mike, participates in the holiday spirit.

“Water Wonderland With Scuba Santa” runs from Nov. 25-Dec. 31, daily from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

The cost: $23.99 for adults, $15.99 for children ages 2-12, free for children 2 and under.
