New Parking Changes for Goblins Galore

Little Goblins Galore-goers will park off-site this year and take shuttles to the event, rather than parking at the McConnell Springs parking lot.

To get to the Halloween party – on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 1-5 p.m. – little goblins and their families should park at the Lexington Waste Management Training Pad at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike, across from the Humane Society, and use the shuttle system.

Handicap accessible shuttles will run continuously throughout the event.

The growing popularity of the event has made parking at the McConnell Springs parking lot difficult.

“The goal is to make the event safer for everyone,” said Amber Luallen, parks cultural arts manager, “especially Little Goblins in Halloween costumes that sometimes make it hard to watch for traffic.”

Little Goblins Galore costs $5 per child, and is recommended for kids ages 12 and under. Chaperones get in free.

The event comes complete with an enchanted character trail, a petting zoo and other special entertainment. Food and soft drinks are available for purchase throughout the event.
