Next Best Years of Your Life Workshop: Living the Good Life!
Fayette County Extension Office celebrates the 20th year of its “Next Best Years of Your Life” series with this year’s one-day workshop titled, “Living the Good Life.”
This event, geared for older adults and caregivers, is Friday, Oct. 16, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Fayette County Cooperative Extension at 1140 Red Mile Place.
Topics include keeping your brain healthy, travel tips, caretaker guidance and fitness. Lexington Mayor Jim Gray will give the welcoming address and local chef Ouita Michael will provide a healthy cooking-for-one demonstration.
Live music and entertainment will be provided by country musician and comic Grandpa Jones.
Registration is required. Cost is $10 per person and includes breakfast, lunch and materials.
