Homemade Play Dough Recipe

Play Dough can be made from ingredients you already have in your kitchen cabinets. The color comes from Kool-Aid powder, so you don’t have to worry if your toddler decides to have a little taste (which they inevitably will.)

1 packet of Kool-Aid (any color)

1 cup white flour

2 tablespoons oil

½ cup of salt

1 cup boiling water

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, adding water last.

Mix with a spoon to blend well. When the dough is cool enough, use your hands to knead it until any lumps are gone and the color is consistent.

Let your kids play! Store in an air-tight container or plastic baggie.
