Easy DIY Stamp Craft

Playing with stamps is a current favorite activity for my toddler. Using some craft supplies I had on hand, I made our own stamps that were not only inexpensive, but my daughter was able to create the designs for her own stamps.

Supplies Needed:

  • Pieces of scrap wood
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Hot glue
  • Ink pad

Sand down the edges of the wood pieces until there are no sharp corners or rough edges. Pieces should be small enough for your child to grasp easily with one hand.

Shape the pipe cleaners into different shapes or designs. You can let your child help create the shapes, or even make letters out of the pipe cleaners to practice the alphabet. Hot glue the shapes to one side of the wood.

Let the glue dry, then press the pipe cleaner side onto an ink pad and stamp away!
