DIY Felt Tree Craft

Felt makes for great sensory play for little ones. Since this craft doesn’t require any glue or adhesives, it’s safe for younger children and mess-free!

Supplies needed:

Sheets of felt in various colors

Scissors

Step One

Cut a Christmas tree shape out of green felt, whatever size you choose

Step Two

Cut out different shapes from different colors of felt to make your “ornaments.”

Step Three

Secure the felt tree to a wall or canvas to keep it sturdy. Then simply press your ornaments onto the tree and watch them stay put! You can move the ornaments and redecorate your tree over and over again!

Learn While You Play: Talk to your toddler about the shapes of the ornaments. Ask them to find each shape then put it on the tree.
