12th Annual Elder Care Tour Set for Nov. 11

Welcome to the 12th annual Elder Care Tour, an award-winning, one-of-a-kind event in Central Kentucky sponsored by Lexington Family Magazine.

Aging can present special challenges to the whole family, especially when a loved one is no longer able to live alone.

The Tour is designed to help families address these issues before a crisis hits. This is your chance to be prepared.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, from 1:30-5 p.m., participating retirement communities in Central Kentucky will host free open houses.

The open houses are designed to let older adults, their adult children and other caregivers educate themselves about elder care housing options in a relaxed, unpressured atmosphere.

Pick the place or places you want to visit during the tour, and you’ll learn about the many options available in Central Kentucky.
