Museum Go Round Will Highlight Children’s Art

Join the Explorium, Kentucky’s only children’s museum, for the 12th annual children’s art fair, Museum Go Round!
MGR, the state’s largest art festival for children, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Because of construction in Triangle Park, this year’s Museum Go Round will be hosted in Victorian Square in downtown Lexington.
MGR features up to 100 artists 18 years old and younger who sell their artwork while learning how to communicate, interact, socialize and grow in self-esteem as they share the talent with the community!
MGR is free to the public and includes half-off
admission to the Explorium.

As a part of its 20th anniversary celebration, the Explorium wants to keep empowering children by offering innovative and educational experiences for children and their parents. Funds raised from the Explorium Golf Tournament will go to a special new exhibit called Eye-Click — an interactive exhibit that allows children to interact with science and art with state-of-the-art technology.
